About Kim

I am fortunate to call both the UK and South Africa home, and I take pride in my diverse African heritage. When I’m not consulting, you’ll often find me in the art studio.

With over 20 years of international experience, I bring a deep understanding of human behaviour and connection to my practice. My aim is to create a space where trust can grow and clients feel safe, seen, and welcomed exactly as they are.

I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that the connection you have with your therapist is one of the most powerful tools for growth. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Social Work from the University of Cape Town, and a Postgraduate Specialist Certification in Working with Children and Families from Kingston University, London.

My special interests include anxiety, depression, grief, and childhood trauma, as well as forensic social work services. I’m passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and have appeared on South Africa’s Expresso Show, contributed to media articles and radio, and partnered with Insight Timer as their first South African Contributing Expert.
